KONSTANTINOS TSOLIS ESTATE - Trifilia, Messinia, Greece

OUR STORY

Located in the mountainous region of Messinia, at an altitude of 500 meters, is the

dynamic wine growing area of Trifilia, and the Konstantinos Winery with their surrounding

vineyards. The vineyards were chosen because of the history of quality vines that these

lands produce. The vineyards total 8000 square meters and the winery employs the most

up-to-date winemaking technology available, including a modern laboratory and wine

cellar.

In 1994, the winemaker, Konstantinos Tsolis, together with agriculturalist, Filippos

Koukis, combined their experience, knowledge and passion for wine and created the

Konstantinos Tsolis Winery. They were joined by oenologist, Theodora Kavatha, who has

taken over the daily operations and care of the winemaking.

THE WINES

The special characteristics of the Trifilia terroir bring out in the Cabernet Sauvignon grape

variety, a very rich flavor and great maturity. Konstantinos Winery was also the first in all

of Greece to cultivate the Tempranillo grape. The wines that have been produced are an

excellent expression of the rich, velvety character of this grape. Their white wines achieve

a balance and harmony between the richness of the Chardonnay grape and the finesse of

the indigenous Roditis variety.
